spark only coming from coil itself none from Opti brand new Opti
So is spark making it from the coil TO the opti? B/c there is a wire that connects the coil to the opti. I'd test that wire. If the wire is good, and your coil makes sparks when you crank the engine...you need a new cap and rotor.
Easiest way to tell that there is spark from the coil is to crank the engine with the distributor end of the coil wire held near the block and observe the spark. If that has been done, then there is a problem with the distributor.
If your getting spark at coil the distributor is turning, otherwise there would be no optical pulses to fire the coil.
But the rotor could be defective. I'm assuming that you installed the distributor without opening it.

I did install it without opening it brand new unit was I supposed to open it ? But I didn’t check spark coming from wire just coil itself I’ll check that tomorrow
Mine ran great but had a wiggly bearing so i replaced it with an AIP unit. I cleaned and swapped in my Mitsu sensor. All is well and I have the new AIP sensor as back stock.
Main thing is don't bolt it down if it's not perfectly flush with the timing cover. Ask me how I know. Also, fire it before you put on the water pump. Will save you hours of headache.

original optispark distributors had the optical pick up made by Mitsubishi Electronics, thus "Mitsu". They can be identified by the Mitsubishi tri-star Logo molded into the optical pickup.
