Default Exterior belt trim

So might be trading a 4wheeler for a 86 that's been updated to the later model tail and nose. It looks like the trim has been swapped. But not sure, as I haven't looked it yet. If it hasnt can it be changed?...

Auto swapped to 5speed, headers, cam, etc.
Seems like it could be fun to play with. I could do things to it I wouldn't do to my 87....

The answer to your question is yes it’s very possible but the question of is it early trim, late trim or even mid trim. These are questions that all need to be considered and then you have the attachment question, are they the anchor attachments, adhesive attachments or possibly the PST attachments system. Then you here’s the question of is it Ann early 86,late 86 and also what kind of trim is on the car now. Then there’s the question of what month the car was produced, this reply depends of what type of trim will go back on the car. Was the stock attachment system on the car altered and.....................

What would you change the belt-line trim to?

If it's just a bit "shabby" you could simply paint it.

Well the guy never called or text back soooo....but I was concerned with the older style trim with the newer nose and rear....I don't really like the newer rounded rears, but if the trade woulda happened I sure didnt want two different belt trims on it....CONCAVES RULE!!!!
