I don't know that the Epoxy would do a repair but dependent upon the wheel I'm quite sure there'd be a TIG/MIG Weld repair possible and then sealed with a 2-part Epoxy. Years ago there was a sealing/repair for 'porosity' problems with OE wheels.
OP - were you able to retrieve the wheel? Is it an OE/GM wheel or a reproduction done by 'other than OE/GM' An inexpensive cast wheel I'd think a difficult fix.
Its a replica from OEWheels. And I did manage to retrieve it, but its just sitting there taking up space now.
you must have just picked it up. There is no wear on the bolt head at all.
I was literally a few blocks away from home at the time.. but I did limp back to the garage with that bolt in the wheel and tire. That made the hole in the wheel bigger than when it first went through.
Wow. I've seen a "tread retaining screw" cause problems. That's the first time I've seen a "tire retaining bolt" through the tire tread and the wheel. We should maybe start calling you "LuckyAgentEran"

lol I dont know if i should embrace that or not.. This isnt exactly the type of luck I need!
Holy Cow! Was that thing smacking around on your brake caliper too?
Thank goodness no. But speaking of brakes, I went from Hawk HPS to Power Stop Z26 and I have to admit I like the Power Stops more. Drove it yesterday and everything felt good and right, except of the TCC slippage Im getting after 54mph.
In all seriousness though, by the looks of that bolt someone else may soon be having a pretty crappy day too. Definitely a structural like bolt for some vehicle...

I think its from street construction thats happening on the street where I ran it over. They have some backhoe and other heavy equipment there that they are using to dig and whatnot.
