I have a 95 LT1 mated to a ZF6 trans. This will be going in a 56 C1 resto mod. Do any of you guys know if there is a stand alone ECU for the engine and who might offer it? Thanks Scott

I am pretty sure that if you dig deeper for info, you will find that C4's have two ECU's. One for the engine, and one for the rest of the car.

You can run an lt1 kn minisquirt. They sell them as ug and play kits.

Check with Spear Tech in Anderson IN he was a GM engineer I believe he can set you up with what you need.

To my knowledge the only thing the ECM looks for from the CCM is the key matches the resistance stored in the CCM. I could be completely wrong, but you may be able to get VATS tuned out and be perfectly fine. Again, I could be wring.
