Wipers
I have a 1987 C-4. The wipers will not shut off and run full time in the intermittent mode. If I play with the wiper switch long enough, they will shut off. If I turn the ignition off and back on, they will go off. I replaced the wiper switch, no help. I replaced the wiper motor module, still no help. Any ideas?

I agree on the park switch. It’s inside the motor underneath the cover. It can be replaced if you find one. Or get a new motor from Napa with one on it. My son had nearly the same issues. Replaced the motor and all is well. My 94 won’t shut off unless the wipers are stopped. Pretty sure it’s also the park switch. But I’m in no hurry to replace it just yet....

The contacts from the wiper motor to the cover board is the usual problem, if they do not make a good contact the wiper wont switch off.
the two spring contact pieces break or do not touch with enough pressure, i ended up soldering a wire from each pin to front cover board.
Have not had a problem since.

I have now replaced the wiper switch (twice), the wiper motor cover/module, and now the wiper motor itself. Still having the same problem. The wipers will not shut off, unless I turn the ignition key off and back on. The wipers also run full time in the intermittent mode. Please help?
