Need Source for New Carpet
I am considering installing new carpet in my 89 Coupe. The old is just in "fair" condition. I would appreciate any recommendations/advice on the purchase of new carpet. Regards, Sam

Re: (Kale)
Kale, who supplies all the carpet for the major vendors (I remember you figured this all out)?
BTW, agree with TLD as the vendor. Great support and service.

Re: ACC
Thanks.
Agree, there is some cutting involved.
Good thing about TLC, is when I called that I would have to cut to fit, they said not to worry if it did not fit they would replace. Even after the cuts, even if I blew it. Now, I'm not really good at this and I did the entire interior in about two days (two 4 hour sessions). I made the cuts and they came out great, just luck.
Glue, razor, trim parts detailed, little screws lost. That almost two years ago, and rugs starting to wear, and I have stains from parts thrown in the back. Oh, well. Still looks great, recommend mats .

Re: Need Source for New Carpet (Sam Lam)
Sam Lam,
I picked mine up off Ebay 2 months ago. You might try to email the vendor and see if they have an auction going (parts4corvettes@mindspring.com). It was $390 for the "Mass backed" set (about $100 less than the Corvette houses). I gave him my year, model, and color and it was drop shipped from the carpet manufacturer. I did a post earlier this week of the finished job http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=422870
Only had to cut for the targa storage brackets, the seat bolts, the seat electrical cord, and the door speakers. Everything fit really well.
Good luck!
