Plastic snap on cover on my grove box lid? OEM?
So I noticed that the my grove box has this hard plastic cover that snaps on/off. Its cracked on corner, so I took it off to fix the crack today, and come to realize that it has no GM marking - In fact, there is no marking of anything at all. texture don't match with the rest of interior either...
So Im guessing that this is NOT oem part?
looking at it upside down
picture if lid without it(that's what was under that plastic part)

Not OEM, But I think it is pretty nice, especially if you can fix the crack and keep using it. It looks a lot nicer than most of the replacement pads I've seen and being harder plastic would keep the console from getting that common "Elbow Crater" that the stock tops seem to get when they get older. I wonder where that came from?

yes. its actually not bad in term of quality. Texture and color is little off, but it snapped on tight - that is until it cracked, of course.
I bought car back in November of last year, and I didn't even know that it wasn't OEM until it cracked. and got lose.
What is under it looks brand new. I could just leave it as is.
But im leaning towards this tho...

I wrapped my armrest with a foam backed Alcantara (usually for headliners). It's way more comfortable than the semi hard plastic from before.
