what is this part called ? it's on the rug just below the bottom of the doors as they close

I'm starting on the interior to fix issues car runs great now

First one I saw "up close" is the ones on my "new" '89, they are clear so carpet shows through nicely.
Didn't like 'em at first but they kept the carpets from freezing together so they stay on.
