Looks good to me, but the only person that matters is you.

Looks 100% better than a "green" batt.

Looks good. What did you make it out of?
Also, where did you get the cover between the ECM and the firewall? I've never seen that before.

Its made from ABS plastic. The piece from the firewall to the ECM is a stock piece on my 90.

Frank, what you up to these days? Long time no see/hear.
I recall that you loved your red MN6 Vette and now I know why. I feel same about my "new" red '89 MN6 Vert.

Looks good, but will it retain more heat in hot weather. Seems like it might trap some heat at the top. Probably not a big issue.

Is it just a flat piece taped to the top of the battery?
It's an interesting idea though

I used hook & loop to fasten it. Its flat plastic, but i have it fitted around the support and anything else that was in the way.

2022 C4 of the Year Finalist - Modified
An easier solution is the OEM battery cover for a 96,I’ll have to find a picture.

I’ve bought 2 spares before these are discontinued. The part number is 15180205.

That looks great. I love mods like this -- subtle and tasteful

Ok, can you give us more information on how you formed/cut the plastic? Thanks
