front speakers
89 corvette coupe front door and dash speakers produce no sound. I don't want to replace them, too expensive and too much technical work plus the radio is old. I want to buy a pair of pioneer surface mount box speakers that I can attach to the base of my front seats. Can I just disconnect the front door speakers and use the same wire to connect the pioneer speakers. The car is just a driver nothing special but I can barley hear the rear speakers unless i blast the radio.

Always best to run new wire.

I wasn't sure on the dash speakers I just see the speaker covers. I was hoping to locate the door speaker wires and connect them to the new speakers. I want to avoid taking the dashboard out to replace the radio because I know i will never get it back together properly. If I do decide on replacing the radio I will contact you.
