Hi, and again thanks for all the help I have gotten from you guys in the past. I have a problem that I am unable to solve on my own. IT seems as though the hood adjustment came loose and changed how the prongs lock into the receiving unit. Consequently, on the driver's side of my 1993 C 4 coupe, the windshield wiper hits the hood when at rest. If I engage the wiper it flies off the wiper arm. So far, two wiper blades rest on the highway of Alabama. Is there a youtube showing how to adjust the prongs or is it a measurement thingy where both are equally located and spaced. I can adjust them but do not know if that will life the hood near the windshield enough to allow the wiper arm the room it needs. Thanks for your help.
The wiper arm becomes trapped under the hood and when released it flies off into the wild blue yonder. How can I raise the hood closest to the windshield. Maybe this explains my dilemma a little better. Another question: is there a special windshield wiper blade for the driver's side? Thanks.
What wiper blades have you been using? The recommended blades for the '93 are the ACDelco 8-2202 (82202) or the Trico 20-2. I've found the Michelin "High Performance 20" to fit fine. As mentioned, your hood height can be adjusted if necessary.
