Default New here!

Hey guys!

Long time lurker, not sure what took me so long to join. I'm the proud owner of a 96' Comp yellow LT4, base suspension, black interior with 86k on the clock. I've done enough research to know that there aren't too many Comp yellow lt4s in existence, I also found out that I have the exact spec as serial #1 1996 corvette. (https://www.mecum.com/lots/OH1110-99...ette-serial-1/)

I know questions like this are a bit frowned upon, and in no way does this affect my fondness for the car, but based on my research I've found that there are most likely less than 50 comp yellow coupes with black guts. Despite all of my efforts on this forum I always seem to be led back to the same outdated wright.edu link that no longer exists. Anybody out there who could give me some more insight? Also any other comp yellow LT4 owners out there?

Glad to make y'alls acquaintance!

Blake.

Congratulations on the yellow LT4! Here are the production numbers formerly posted on the former wright.edu page (formerly posted on the collectoreditionregistry.com site back in 2000-2001). See post #6.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...n-numbers.html

Obviously I am partial to the color, too! Yours looks to be in beautiful shape. What are the last four #s of the VIN? My dad owned #4411 (yellow/black/LT4/FE1) back in '96-'98. I own #3828, yellow/beige/LT4/Z51.

There are a few of us who have been around here forever. I've owned mine since 2001. Bought with 8,177 miles, currently a little over 17,000. Life has gotten in the way but I'm never selling this car!

There is something special with an LT4 for sure - to have a yellow one is extra special! There were so few of them. 122 coupes and 22 convertibles.

Thanks for posting your yellow!

Enjoy!
Mike

Great looking 96 LT4, the numbers from the Wright.edu site are total yellow LT4 coupes with black interior is 103 with 16 of those having the F45 suspension.

Thank you guys so much for all of the welcomes and compliments! I'll try my best to get additional pictures added on here soon. I failed to mention that I've had the car for around 2 years now, just never joined the forum until now. My dad owned a white LT1 years back and the nostalgia aspect is what prompted me to buy another C4 in the first place. For those asking/are curious, I found this gem at a late model wholesale auction when I was still in the car business. Couldn't believe it when I saw a bright yellow vette in a sea of neutral colored econo-boxes and SUVs. I scooped it up and brought it home and I've been loving it ever since!
