The weather is changing, getting colder and wetter. The time has come to put my car in storage, wasnt looking forward to it but it had to happen. Can't wait till spring!

I have a small collection of cars and I have to get every one ready to store for winter every year. I wish we could drive them all year long. I just don’t want to live by a third world country like Mexico. No thanks, I will just keep storing them until spring.
Agreed, from Montgomery. I cannot imagine running around with the top down in the summer months here in Alabama. Fall, spring, and some days in the winter are fine but summer?....No way!
We actually had some brief snow flurries here a couple of weeks ago, which didn't last. Leaves are falling from the trees, spent yesterday getting the antifreeze changed in the T-bird and getting ready for some winter projects on the Vette.
The only good thing about winter is I do some of the projects that I otherwise stall off so I can drive the car in better months.
Too much road salt. I never rode my harleys until I was sure rain had washed the salt away. Dont want it creeping into bearings and the like. Maybe I'm just a whiner but....
Just took mine up to fill up with non-ethanol premium anticipating that I may not drive it again this easson. Forecast is for 6" of snow this week in Wisconsin ... dang.

Yup, and I fired up the snow blower last week after doing a once over on it. Wish I could drive year round, but very unlikely in Minnesota (and can't afford to move).

I'm with you. Took my top off last week. I spent 12 years storing sports cars in the great white north. When they closed the base I came back down south.

Some possibilities:
A) Family commitments prevent you from moving (kids in school, parents that need you nearby)
B) Financial situation (good job with pay, low mortgage, etc)
C) Your too lazy or dumb to move.
Both A and B applied to me until the BRAC commission stepped in.
Our plan had been to stay until I retired, put the snowblower in the back of the truck, drive south till someone asked what it was, go a couple hundred more miles just for sure.
