I just bought my car a few weeks ago (1995 c4 automatic). Didn’t notice this switch till after. It’s located on the left side behind the steering wheel and I’m so confused. It lights up but I don’t know what it does. My car still runs if I flick it while driving and I can still turn it on from off while the light is on. Any ideas/thought? Light off Light on

It's certainly not stock and a ridiculous place to put it by previous owner. If not for some light, maybe fans
Turns on off the driving lights even though the headlights aren't on?
Defeat switch for the antenna?
Turns on off the cooling fan regardless of engine temp?
Additional security system switch?
Fake security light. It's in a very visible location to scare away the bad guys, but doesn't need to do anything except turn on the red light in the switch!
Anybody know what this switch does?
