Re: GS crash. (rats87)
I've never seen it.
WOW. That'll take the fun out of washing it.
Looks like the only thing left is the passenger compartment.
Anyone seriously hurt in it?

Yes it was. It had a major off road excursion while attempting to negotiate some hills in the sand hills part of Nebraska.

Re: GS crash. (rcolling)
That does suck. :( Looks like the driver/passenger area held up reasonably well compared to the rest of the car.

That's a good demonstration of the safety of the 'vette. The passenger compartment is untouched, and the rest is demolished.

The registry doesn't even know where all the cars are, so no way of telling how many are left. I have seen at least 5 that have been totalled.

Re: GS crash. (85WHITEZ51)
OUCH  Now how can that car be repaired? The only way I see is if a emblem or two came thru it ok and you stuck them on another vette and called the other vette the repaired vette.
