Hello, I was wondering if someone could please help me with a problem? I have a 91 vette that I have owned for 20 years. I recently drove it and it ran fine until it went into closed loop as it warmed up. After searching around I found that something chewed up some wires underneath, specifically the wires to the oil temp sensor and the oxygen sensor. The first problem is, the harness that is supposed to connect to the oil temp sensor has 3 wires. Black, pink and purple. The sensor itself has 2 wires, just the pink and black and I have no clue where the additional purple wire goes. Problem 2 is I also don't see where the chewed end of the oxygen sensor wire would reconnect. I can't find the service manual I had. If anyone could please steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
