Wow! Who's NOT gonna' Respect THAT!?!?
...And Respect the Two of You for the Gorgeous way you keep that Perfect Example '84 Corvette. I like that Greenwood Kit, It's totally BOSS! (except for the wing... just not a wing guy). Where in the World did you get the Awesome "Chevrolet Corvette" Tires?!?! I'm gonna' Bookmark this post so as I can refer back to it to see what "CLEAN" is all about. Did you clean the underside or did you just keep it that way from birth? The Wheels and Tires really make a statement along with the way the car sits/stands, whichever your preference. The "Newness" of the car doesn't hurt it neither. Very Nice! Sexy! Head turning, eye popper for sure.

We found this sitting on a used car lot (for sale by owner) driving to work some 20 years ago. I stopped to look at it because of the Greenwood kit. The car was totally original (43,000 miles) except for the "kit" (original gater backs with stock wheels). The car was faded to a "pink", this thing was a complete grease and oil dripping monster (but unmolested) no parts missing. The previous owner bought it new and never turned a wrench on it except for oil changes. He was selling it to purchase a cabin. Got it for a steel. Fixed the oil leaks by changing the valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets and one piece oil pan gasket. Now that the underside had a nice sheen of oil on everything, once I cleaned off all the goo, it looked brand new. Now mind you I spent a few weekends on this project thru the winter. Then My buddy and my self wet sanded off all the peeling clear coat and block sanded chips, we sprayed over the original paint (20 years ago) with the factory bright red and clear coat, cut and buffed. The door jams are still the original paint.
The only things I have changed are: Clutch, tires and wheels, the black belt line trim pieces around the body @ respray, Stereo, Carpet, cross flag emblems, muffler eliminators and last year the wind shield. Otherwise she is stock from the factory

Melting Slicks
I’m a big fan of ‘84s. They are the underdog a bit, and i like that, but I also think they are great cars and a watershed moment in the history of the Corvette, when it became “The Most Advanced Production Sportscar on the Planet.” Much love.

I like the wing and I love the wheels and tires. I just wish Chevy didn't put that black trim around the cars back then essentially cutting the car in half. I was so happy when they did away with that in 1991.But that's just me.
It's a beautiful car and you guys took exceptional care of it.
