Hood Lights
I have searched around and tried to find a thread to help, but I am out of ideas. The hood lights in my '95 have worked before, but the dumb glass bulbs kept pooping cause they get hot and you slam the bonnet down and they break. Anyway I went to replace them, but the new bulbs won't turn on. I ordered new mercury switches and that did not fix them. I have checked the fuses and the connectors at the hood and everything seems to be in working order, but the lights do not go on. Am I missing something like maybe a relay? I am not sure what to check next to figure out why the bulbs will not turn on.

Yes, thank you, that did it. Went to try other bulbs (came in a 5 pack) and underneath the CA prop 65 warning was a label that said, "if not working when installed, turn bulb 180 degrees"
