wiper switch light question
Hello all,
1987 Corvette coupe auto. 62000 miles. I took my drivers side door panel off to do some repairs to cracks and to reinforce my inside swipe molding. I upgraded my wiper switch light to LED and when tested did not work. I reversed polarity and no light. I put the old bulb back in and no light. I tried it with the single light wire, as well as connected the wiper panel harness. No light. Both lights worked with direct power from the battery. I will check my socket and connections but have a question. I have also disconnected my wiper motor because I'm replacing it. Could this interruption have anything to do with the no light situation? I want to be sure it works before putting the door panel back on as I don't want to take it off again.
Any help would be appreciated.
