Today I took my 84 Corvette to the doctors office. As I pulled in the parking lot, I noticed a young man with a Honda looking at me. He hesitated getting into his car. I parked a few spaces away and as I got out, he stopped, rolled down his window and gave me a thumbs up. This is a stock 1984 with tinted glass. This was a first in the 13 years I have owned this car. Who knows maybe someday the much hated Crossfire will become a classic?
Not near me...passed 3 newer generation Corvettes the other day, not one return wave...
I guess it's the times we live in lots of Corvette people stop waving .
One more way to look at it some people own a Corvette and some people are Corvette people .
I think the real Corvette people will wave I hope they would anyway .
I wave and get a few back It is what it is Sad , but I do get some waves from non Corvette driving people that's cool and I give them a big wave back hell yes .
I never could understand it but I never got any thumbs up with the C6 but get them all the time with the C4. Maybe because it is older and in very good shape. I do the wave also but seems C7 owners are too busy with life to wave back.
I got a thumbs up and a wave from Santa yesterday. He was riding around behind the volunteer fire company. They had a nice trailer setup for his northpole and he was chilling in it saw me and pointed, gave a thumbs up and then waved.
People seem to notice the color (red), not so sure they are checking out an old c4
Some give the thumbs up the rest are wanting to race you knowiing their KIA can blow my doors off.
I dont care if people wave or not
