Could be wrong though, you could always talk to a tuner if a code gets thrown. LT1PCMTuning does L98 and also offers free tips for DIYers. I just deleted all the AIR, EGR, and installed long tubes on my 1995 (different from an L98 of course) but it didn’t throw any codes. My 87 that I did the smog delete on already had an EGR code when I bought it.
Someone else might chime in on that one though.

I bought a bunch of stuff off of an estate auction for my OBS Chevy truck and in one of the auction lots were three C4 smog delete kits, brand new still in the priority mail boxes they were purchased in. I put them up on eBay if anyone is interested. The description on eBay isn't great because it wouldn't let me mention anything related to deleting emission control stuff.

I would highly suggest avoiding buying anything from PQYracing. Website very scammy saying on their smog delete page "15 sold in last 35 hours" and "10customers are viewing this product". Yeah sure. I did place an order for the smog delete and did get it in a timely manner but they should be ashamed of their shipping. It came in a very thin cardboard box that was left open by UPS. The parts inside were rough and kinda sharp. I can't get it to line up with my '87 but I need to look into it more. I'm not sure of parts fell out of the open part of the box.
I ordered one from the ebay link someone posted above. I'm at the point I'm trying to buy a few smog delete kits just to see who ships and which ones actually fit. Next step is to just buy used smog pumps off of ebay and try that again. There is a new smog pump on Amazon and wondering if I should risk the scam as Amazon should refund it. It's shipped and sold by some Chinese
