Yes, they are the rubber wipers. I tried taking a pics, but it like 5* out and dark in my garage. Will try this weekend with a trouble light. There is
a gap about 1" about on center of the strips. I have the windows down, and the battery disconnected. The inside ones don't even touch the glass.

Is the top lip of the door panel firmly overlapping the metal door panel top?
I find that my old "referbed" door panels tend to slip up and off the metal door top which leaves them rather "flopping".
I have to press down on the upper door panel so that it doesn't "jump" up and off the metal as I slip the panel into place.
