Default 36 year old paint

Not too bad for all original 36 year old paint. Amazing how well the original paint has held up.

Something else you might consider are ramps like mine. 2"x12" wood. Great for safely lifting the car.

O/T but are the ramps just 2x12 screwed together?

I also made the same ramps and yes they are 2 x 12 screwed together. There were specific lengths for each step and I think I found the plans here on the forum.

Now that I have a quick jack for the Corvettes I use the ramps for oil changes on my truck. They work well but are heavy to carry around.

Very nice car, though I think it would look a little better with some 36 year old wheels that were built with the car.

That GM Bright Red mixed up in 85 does seem to hold up well. Mine is orginal too and and yes those are 87 wheels the original owner added in 87 because he liked grey better than the black on wheels. He did keep them and they are in my garage.
