Regretted selling my ‘96 CE LT4 Coupe back in 2019 when I Bought a new C7. I’ve been searching for a suitable replacement ever since. Found a very nice base model Black/Black LT4 coupe last year and finally made the deal last night, just picked it up and got it home. Better pics to follow, but here she is.
Looks great. My 96 LT4 is a twin. What did you miss about the C4 that you bought a second one?
BTW, welcome back
I was a teenager in the '90's and always dreamed of having a Corvette. I got my first one, an '84 Frankenstein with an '87 L98 transplant in 1999. I then got a '96 CE in 2003 and kept it until 2019 although I hadn't driven it much after the kids came along. I didn't think I'd miss it but after getting my C7 I knew something was missing. The C7 is a wicked car but it just doesn't have the fun factor, and for me the nostalgia of my teen years.
Finally got to drive it for the first time today! Yes, I know I should have test driven it. I did get a test ‘ride’ before I bought it with the PO driving. Then when I picked it up my buddy drove it home. He gave it a full thumbs up, but I’ve been too busy with work to get out for a drive since I took ownership. All I can say is, damn, I knew I did the right thing and I’d sell the C7 before I part with this machine. It’s such a blast to drive.
