targa brace

hey everyone - I was trying to get in touch with Tom Gasper about a targa brace - can anyone confirm this is the correct number 216-316-9812

I know he gets busy and may take a day or 2 to call back - but I wanted to make sure I had the correct number to begin with

Yes that is the correct number. However I do not believe he sells them directly any longer. Another company is marketing them for him. It has been mentioned in a few threads on the forum the past few months.

I did not notice in your profile that you had an 85. Mine is for the later years. I am not sure Tom ever made one for the earlier cars since his was also a later model.

He did. I have one of his braces on my 85. I believe it is one of the roof re manufacturers that sells them now.

I thought so as well - any thoughts on who - i checked melrose which is who i got my replacement top from before - they do not - many older entries from targa brace search -

I did, but they cancelled the order in about 2 weeks due to lack of supplies is what I was told. They also said I was on their waiting list when they became available.

thanks - I spoke with them this morning they said backlog because the person making them was sick - maybe a month - to check back - so I probably will unless I find something sooner (doubtful)
