Default Indispensable C4 accessories?

It is certainly possible to buy lots of accessories for any Corvette. Many are just decorative. Lots are just crap with a Corvette emblem. (My floor mats, for example.) I have a couple that I use enough to consider them nearly indispensable. First is my gadgetman hatch vent. (Coupe only) I use it about any time I don't require heat or A/C. (Sometimes when I do.) Second is a package tray in the cargo area. I use it all the time. I'm not considering my radar detector as a C4 accessory.

Anyone have another?

The sun shade/headliner would be totally indispensable in the summer....if it worked and stayed UP against the glass roof!

I forgot about that one. Mine worked great until the sun induced a giant sag. I have so little regard for my transparent top's transparency that I glued my liner into the top. Never comes out. Wish the car had solid top. Don't GAF about the "targa". I never take the top out.

I got rid of the transparent top and bought a top with opaque material and had it painted

I was thinking about a dash cam this afternoon as I was traveling a blue highway. In my eternal paranoia about loss of privacy, I figure a dash cam would somehow be used against me.

It's not being paranoid if the ARE out to get you.

I read somewhere that the commonest things people complained about with Corvettes (multi-generations) are cup holders and radios.

They are so shallow that it could tip if you accelerate hard, I feel. Radio is fine if it isn't Bose. If it is Bose, rewire and upgrade.

I want to say that they have a set of power and ground wires under the center console for that but not much space to put in something

They do and I used it but I extended it to a spot with more room.

Since I take the targa on and off, I have a B&D cordless screwdriver with a long T40 bit. It makes dealing with those blasted targa screws easier.

Wow. First time I heard that. Only time I had it off and on was to trial fit it after I bought the car and dumped the transparent piece for a solid one which needs to be painted to match. I haven't had it off since maybe 05 but once.

Hood release cables as previously posted, and an Element fire extinguisher.
