So I was scrolling through some pics on my phone and happened on a few I took of some C4s while on a walk through a park last summer (I spotted one down a side path and off of this road/driveway). Thought I’d put them here. Sad. I wish someone would rescue them! The red one with the body kit the rear window of the top was completely gone. All autos if I recall... I’m curious to get back there at some point to see if they are still there, maybe get some better pics/check them out more and talk to the owner if that person can be found just to see what the deal is!
That's how hoarders are. I worked with a guy years ago that had 30+ (I don't remember exactly) stored on his back 40. He kept them licensed and insured. Most, if not all were beaters.
Is this a joke ? What is that , a custom ‘50’s Mercury there too ? This has too be BS. Where are they ? I’ll bring my trailer and come get them.
This is NOT a joke. Northwest Ohio, SW of Farnsworth Park along the Maumee River. I completely forgot about them until I saw in my phone. It’s been a year but I’d assume still there!
Plot thickens! I found it on google earth, now I have to go visit again !
I cannot tell how old the map image is (could be years old?) but looks like the burgundy one is there, and the body kit red one is pointing the other way? Other two MIA.
Google Earth, you can’t even go by the photo date. They are still showing my house as it was at least 6 years ago, but according to the date it’s recent. Why would someone one leave them where they could be damaged or vandalized ? This is a public road ? I got a ticket when my car quit on a dirt road in Michigan within 24 hours, and it was on the shoulder !
So this guy lives in a park and leaves classic cars along the roads by his house ? Maybe this is like Hansel and Gretel, and those are leading the way to the house in the woods, and when you knock on the door to ask about them , you become the entree for the next meal.

Not a public road, believe it is a private/shared driveway. Top of screenshot the driveway ends at a main road. It crosses the bike/walking path there in the bottom right corner and goes along the river with a few other cottages. I saw the tip of the first car from the bike path and walked over.
House etc looks nice enough. I'm wondering if they're trolling. Some people get their kicks by putting "bait" out and turning down those who come seeking. They probably have a chalkboard somewhere in the house with hashmarks for how many people have inquired.
When I was a kid I had a neighbor who was like this. He had some seriously cool car I wanted that he would drive and then park in his lawn when something went wrong. He wouldn't sell ANY of them. He had a really cool black Monte carlo ss I wanted, a black fox mustang GT hatchback, and a couple other older cars there. Eventually the county made him remove them, and they were so rusted from sitting they were totally worthless. He probably had 14 cars on his 0.3 acre lot in total.
The real shame is us kids and teenagers would have loved to buy and fix those cars. His neighbor next door to him was a pretty decent home mechanic who flipped auction junkers as his retirement hobby. He taught us neighborhood kids a lot about auto repairs. If he had sold us those cars they'd probably still be on the road today, not crushed in some scrap yard somewhere. Hoarders man...
Well, my son’s cross country meet made it so this was “on the way home” . The cars are all gone! Fresh gravel where they were parked. Hopefully that’s a good thing. The house there is very nice and has a detached 3+ garage... Nobody home at that house so unfortunately no idea what happened to them...And they may have belonged to someone else at one of the cottages further down the driveway, who knows.
