What are the two things, one on each side? Are those converters, mufflers or what. I’ve searched the manual and see pictures with them included bit nowhere are they named. Can they be removed when the new system is made? Would that give me fault codes if I did?
Catalytic converters. Some people have them and others remove them. Most of it depends on if you need to pass emissions testing or if you do not mind the smell of a rich fuel exhaust.

3 cats, the first two are called pre-cats, and the main is a much larger one in the middle.
Precats are often removed as they are quite restrictive, either with a catless Y pipe or headers. So long as you leave the O2 sensor in roughly the same location, no codes will set and you won't have any problems removing them.
