I bought a 1984 Corvette in October, and am interested in figuring out the specific number my car was (i.e. number 11,999 of 51,000). I know it was an early car because it has the jack handle slot under the hood, instead of in the rear storage well. The sticker on the door indicates the car was produced in March, 1983. Any suggestions? :chevy

The last six numbers are the plant sequential number.

I don't think the "1" means anything, at least not for 1984. There were 51,547 coupes for 1984 starting at 100001 and ending 151547.
