Just notice what you modified for hood release cables incase of emergency.

I was at local car show last week, when a C4 couldn't open up right side, been there done what you did after that occurred to me when I owned C4 1989.

I used metal coat hanger folded it and went fishing, and it worked in 5 minutes to release the latch.

Ya, the emergency release cables are from Corvette central. The other guys in my corvette club kept telling me to get them so I finally did, although my release cable is new anyway, but better safe than sorry.

Glad you were able to get the fellow corvette owners hood open!

The fellow parked next to meet at last weekends show with the Big Block Mid-year car said that he's had some problems with his getting stuck before and was also looking at my emergency release cables.

Car looks GREAT DMITTZ!!!

The Speedlines really pop and the interior is clean. I thought that was impressive enough then I saw under the hood. Kudos brother!

Did you make your own C-beam adapter or buy one? I'm considering going to a T56 and am curious about the adapter.

My Trans is a T56 Magnum, so a little different than the older T56's. The C-beam adapter was custom made.

Tremec now makes a new T56 Magnum 'F', which wasn't avaliable when I bought the Trans. The magnum F has the older style F-body case but the new magnum guts. So I'd advise you get that one, as it will put the shifter in a better spot. We had to make a pretty well thought out offset shifter handle for my regular Magnum Transmission so we could get the shifter in the right spot.

He's some pictures of what was done on my car. These were taken back in the fabrication / mockup stage of the build. Everything was of course painted and the floor was patched afterwards of course.
