Replacing outer tail light bulbs
Jack up the car, remove the wheel and the 10 or so screws for the wheel well cover and you have a straight shot into the far outside light.
On the passenger side you can quite easily remove the two 10mm bolts (on top and bottom) of the light itself to pull the whole fixture out which should allow you to get to the inner tail light (but you can leave these 10mm bolts alone if you're just going for the outer bulb replacement) if you can't get through the license plate hole.
The driver side is a little trickier to get to the outside light as there is more "crap" in the way but it's still a straight shot if you have thin, long arms versus trying to angel your elbow through the license plate hole.
Note: I have thin, long arms and even I couldn't work my arm through the license plate hole to get to the outside tail light. I know jacking, removing the wheel, and the well cover seems like a lot but it honestly took me max 30 mins, including replacing the bulb. I used a cordless drill with a Philips head on it to quickly remove the wheel well screws. There's a couple 10mm bolts as well but are easy to get too and don't take too long to remove.
Also for any morons like me the bulbs are push in and then twist, not JUST twist. I tend to forget this in-between the years of replacing automotive bulbs.
