Probably beating a dead horse, but here goes nothin'.
My wife's 89 C4. Great car.
Had it about 3 years now.
Prior to today, every once in a while, the left headlight wouldn't open all the way.
Give a little assist, it would hold open and close ok.
Tonight, we decide to go out for dinner and BOTH headlights only open 1/2 way, and they will not close all the way, even using the manual ****.
It is the first time the car has been driven late enough to require the headlights, quite a long time actually.
Gears? Motors? Module?
Are those the main things I need to look into?
Is there just the one module?
Thanks in advance.
Do you have any history of the headlamp gear assembly being over hauled? If not I would start by removing one assembly and checking the bushing pellets under the motor cover to see if they have been ground down to dust. That would be the most common reason for what you describe is happening.

I do not know the history of the vehicle before I bought it at an estate auction.
It had been in his garage with multiple other Corvettes, hotrods and trucks for years.
More than likely, no history of prior overhaul.
He was a mechanic by trade but the car had been sitting for a very long time.
I have watched a few YouTube videos, seems tedious but easy enough. I rebuilt the whole top end of the engine, so hopefully this won't make a fool of me!
Thanks for the input and advice.
