Default door sill question

hey everyone - in my continued battle to remove parts for a carpet replacement - i have run across the stubborn door sills - the passenger side does not look as bad as the driver's side - which i am currently fighting - does anyone know how to get it past the e-brake handle? do not want to break anything else today - looks like it should lift off - but it keeps getting stuck on the handle - unless that's another fun aspect of the c4 - remove the e-brake handle?

any help would be great - thanks

Sean

I'm pretty sure that all I did with mine was remove the e-brake cover. It's been a few years, though.

By the way. There's a ground down there.

It's G201.

If you're replacing carpet, it's a great time to inspect it and clean it up with a wire brush or whatever while it's exposed. It has a tendency to get cruddy and cause problems.
