Default wire connection question

does anyone know what this plug might be for - it doesn't appear to have the other connection - but it was uncovered while working on the carpet - it is behind passengers seat below the light on the pillar - want to make sure it is nothing i need to connect -

thanks

Sean

From the '85 FSM wiring schematics. If wire colors are a match that's it!

green and black - AIR ambient sensor - so i admit complete ignorance on this - should this be connected and what does it do? - a quick search led me to a sensor in the front of the car - this connection is behind the passenger seat - - it was not connected when i took the carpet off - but that does not mean it shouldn't be - right?

For your '85 just tuck it back in and forget about it! It looks like everyone just 'deleted' all of their comments in this thread. '85 was the first year that C68 was 'intended' to be released as an option and most of the harnesses in production had that provision.

i wondered what happened - i got an email there were comments -

cool little fun fact - thanks - i wondered because i tried to be careful taking the carpet off and watch connections - last thing i want to do is start chasing a connection I forgot where it went - it happens but i had hoped to avoid that this time -

as always i really appreciate the info and help -
