93 vs 94
I had a 94 convertible a few years ago. Good running car with 61k miles but I sold it. I recently picked up a clean 62k mile 93 coupe. Both cars are autos and same rear end. It may just be me but it seems like the 93 doesn't run quite as strong as the 94 did. The 4L60E seemed to shift a little snappier as well. Is it my imagination or do the later LT1s run a little better?

93 speed density map ECU verses.
94 - 95 faster 512 flash PCM. this system actually has 2 boards two 512 flash. Maf and Map.
GM designed OBD II from this PCM hence ALDL/ OBD II port. 93 trans is 700r4/ 4L60 verses the 94up 4L60E.
Everything else is equal.
