Typical dealer ****. A C4 is definitely not a car I’d buy from a dealer, mostly just because of the price. Like many have said, it’s probably worth high teens, possibly low 20’s if it’s truly perfect. Last year, my dad paid $18.5k for a 96 CE LT4 6 spd with 28k miles. Private owner sale is the way to go with these cars as you can talk to the guy that’s owned it, get an idea of what was done and what it needs. Buying from a dealer is just throwing 7 grand out the window for nothing. BUT if you must have it and it’s THE car you want, and you want a C4 vs spending same amount on a C5 then go for it. I honestly think you will come across a similar car from a private owner if you keep looking.

If we are talking about LT4s the GS is not that rare at 1000. It is the third most common after CE (2009) and Black (1073). Bright Aqua Convertible only 6 made. Mine is Artic White one of 504.
