I know one goes to the T fitting near the wheel well. I'm hoping someone can tell me about the other one. It seems to go through some kind of fitting on the bulkhead. I can't tell if it goes through the fitting, or if it terminates on the fitting. If it goes through the fitting, can you tell me what it goes to, and the best way to access it?
Thanks

Through a grommet to the SLS (Stop Light Switch / Cruise Release) in the car at the brake pedal etc.
That was quick. Thanks, WVZR-1. Now I just have to figure how to fish the new one through that grommet.
I did it when I replaced my clutch master, it’s not too bad. Although I had the the seat out so I could lay on my back. I don’t remember exactly but I may have fished it through inside out. Either way I don’t remember it being difficult. It restored my cruise control.

Hey, Pedricd, nice to see you. I was thinking that might be easiest to feed it from the inside out, and that I would probably need to remove the seat. I remember doing the clutch master on mine and needing to have the seat out. That sounds like maybe a tomorrow thing. Then I can try to connect Scan9495 and see what I find with the whole shutting down thing.
It may be helpful to use the existing vacuum line to pull the new one through! I would unhook the original on the inside and connect it to an extra long new piece using a straight barbed fitting of the appropriate size (maybe even one size bigger so it's extra tight) followed buy a thin layer of electrical tap extending past the ends of the barbed fitting an inch or two on both sides, for extra holding power....maybe apply a little sil-glyde or dish soap on the electrical tape area and pull it through from the engine compartment side....then just clip this section out for a fresh end on your new vacuum line👍

I believe if you just inserted a piece of the appropriate sized PTFE nylon tubing through the existing at the grommet you could then just use the appropriate vacuum 'hose' to the pedal switches and also under-hood to the appropriate next component. Lube the PTFE product for easy! Barbed fittings for vacuum might be a stretch.
Thanks, guys. My dad was here and had the same idea about using the old one to pull the new one but the old one is so deteriorated that it could never stay in one piece if I tried that. The PTFE line should work, though.
