I do not think that anyone makes an aftermarket shifter for us 4+3 guys... I have heard that you can modify your existing arms to make shorter shifts, but I have not tried that.
About the only thing you could do is to drill new holes in the shift levers at the transmission. It would probably pay to drill them large and put in some bronze bushings, because when the fulcrum gets shorter, the leverage increases. Shorter shifts require more force at the shifter.
I have a 92 6 speed and it has the B&M short shifter. It's really annoying. I thought my transmission was on its last legs as it takes a lot of effort to shift into all the gears, but it doesn't grind at all. I read on here that it is a common issue with the short shifters. They reduce the leverage ratio in your shifting. So keep that in mind if you decide to change it. The Corvette shifter isn't like older cars where you have a longer shifter.
The C4 shifter is attached to the transmission tunnel not to the transmission itself so no one makes an aftermarket shifter for these cars. I found a short shift kit about 5 years back which only consists of different links at the transmission. As stated previously they only move the fulcrum which makes for heavier shifts.
I am sending my "shift kit" to SurfnSun so he can copy them for folks that want a set. I am updating to a ZF6.

i use my hurst shifter to help me out-shift (shift faster) than cars with the new stupid-tech dual synchronized whatever style transmissions
give me a clutch pedal and a short throw shifter vs. some millenial that doesnt know how to drive their automatic mustang and ill shift faster everytime

This path could create some problems:
1. Cosmetic (mine is mainly a track car...I don't even have a center console...not too worried about that), and
2. Overdrive Switch
a. Mount existing switch to side of shifter stick or the dash to be out of the way on the track, or
b. Rig up something with a shifter **** momentary switch (the interesting part is that the circuit needs to be closed by default and the momentary switch temporarily opens the circuit) https://www.summitracing.com/search/...rder=Ascending
