I have a question. I have an '84 C4 and I want to do 2 things. First I'd like to have the motor bored and stroked to a 383 from 350. Second I'd like to get rid of the crossfire injection. How do i find a machine shop that is capable of doing the first for me and is it worth doing? And second, can I get rid of the crossfire injection by using the heads and intake setup from an '85 and up?

A competent machine shop will be able to do your required motor work.
No, a 85-89 had a different computer set up than the 84 cross fire, so it not "plug and play." There are several write up about people who have converted the CFI. Frankly, I'd look to keep the CFI. You can dial those in pretty well and there are power increase opportunities that do not involve ditching the whole system.

Thank you. I have heard mixed responses about the crossfire injection system so I honestly didn't know if it was worth keeping or not. I truly don't know much at all about corvettes, just that I've always loved the C4. Any information is greatly appreciated and will be used. Thank you again.
