Having a few issues with my new drivers side door panel. I know I’m missing a few pieces but can anyone tell/show me how the top/inner part of the panel secures to the door? ^ ^this is the part I’m trying to figure out
Don't have my door apart, but I would guess that it is held in there by plastic push thingy. It is circled in below picture. It should remove from door and go in a grove in the door panel. There might be a few of them around the door.

the plastic push thingy as you call it holds the vapor barrier up. The only thing holding the door panel is over the top edge by the window. several screws along the bottm of panel and 1 on edge and a couple in the arm rest.

over the top edge by the window? Is that the piece I’m missing in the pic above? I know the defroster piece has two screws but I don’t remember how the rest went
On my 93, there is a strip of heavy duty velcro in the upper front area of the panel. There is also velcro holding the bose CDU to the side wall of the passenger side storage box. I assume both are GM original.
the top of the door panel "hooks" into the window opening gap. You need to lift it up higher than the top of the door, then push towards the outside of the door, than down on the ledge...if that makes sense

Yup and of your panel is warped or cracked.... Forget about it.

Yes, and it probably is cracked. You can fix it with epoxy adhesive, simple doublers, and blind rivets. Youtube search how.I did this and it's just time consuming, not difficult.

care to explain in better detail? This is a brand new door panel
There's ribs along the top half of the panel..those ribs hold the curve of the top in place, and over time will crack allowing the panel to get floppy. Once it's floppy, the top will never maintain it's shape to hook it over top of the door frame.
