Anyone else besides me have an issue with getting a response back from TPIS? I placed an order that shipped on the 30th and according to UPS was never given to them. Tracking just shows its awaiting to be picked up. I have called and emailed TPIS more times than necessary. I'm glad i held off on ordering headers lol.

I’ve heard other discussions about them recently. I believe they are down to being a build as you go type thing and usually take a while to ship out. I’d try to be patient but the zero response thing is annoying. After a while I’d just contact your creditor and cancel. Plenty of other fish in the sea. But they do make some nice stuff.

Thought they were out of business

would be nice to sue and get a judge to put them in receivership so they could continue to fulfill c4 orders

i really liked TPIS’s steel ceramic coated 1 3/4”
long tube headers for my 93 lt1

fit well, easy to install. excellent spark plug access and were LIGHT !
made 355 rwhp and rwtq with hot cam kit and tune / stock lt1 exhaust on my 1993

Their flaw was I dont think they were true equal length

i went to ARH 1 7/8 (1 3/4” stepped stainless headers) and was apalled at how much heavier they were vs the TPIS headers I removed

spark plug access tricker also (but not terrible)
also the bigger ARH headers didnt clear the swingouts of my canton road race oil pan like the TPIS headers did

i had to put 1/8” spacers off the heads to get them to clear the swingouts

Interesting. I was looking at them and the 1 5/8” headers offered by Stainless Works. Maybe I will take my chances and order the ones from TPIS. I have heard nothing but good about them.

I've ordered from there before and the customer support side of things is not great. I've always received what I ordered, but they are not expedition by any means.

As far as their headers are concerned, they are pretty upfront about the wait time. You can be put on a list but no formal orders are being taken. I suspect it is a long long wait on those.
