I hate to say it...but Simple Green is "banned" for use on the Fighter Jets I work on. I don't think it is because of it's effect on the metal....but more because of EPA rules. We are only allowed to use some weak citrus based biodegradeable stuff.
I do, however, use simple green on all my cars....engine bay, and suspension. Nothing compares!!

Man, we kept 50 gal.drums of the stuff. It supposed to be biodegradable. I kept a spray bottle full of 50/50 Simple Green and a green Scotch Brite pad in my tool box. :flag
it works great for some stuff. i use it. be careful because it will remove wax so keep it off the paint. i got some on my garage floor and it removed the wax from the floor.
