Tried using Mass Storage Cartridge which has GM Body Systems Ver3.0 ( 1988-2004 ) and it has no option for CCM program.
Anyone have any luck using a Mass Storage Cartridge for CCM programming?

I don't believe the MSC was ever intended to program a CCM - read and diagnose only.
so sounds like only an Individual Body Cartridge will work?
Besides Body Cartridge 3000085 are there any other Cartridges (part numbers) that will work?
I would think it would take first hand experience to determine that the MSC you mentioned won't and I've never had a opportunity to start fresh with a properly erased CCM (any year). My MSC is the latest version GM only with no CMC or others. I have a multi-manufacture MSC also. Reach out to @-=Jeff=- and ask him how he accomplishes it. He's mentioned that he can 'clear' a CCM and reprogram odometer and VIN. I was going to but ... I've seen mentioned previously that a 3000085 will do '93+ and that's the question you asked sorta. You asked '93 & '94. Has @-=Jeff=- done '93+? I've no idea.
I will say I am not using a TECH 1A to do my clearing and programming.. with my setup I currently have done a 1990, two 1991s and a 94 or 95 ( forget the exact year)
I can switch a L98/LT1 to be happy in a LT5. I currently have a 1991 CCM programmed with the correct mileage in my 1990 and have no issues. I have a 1992 CCM I have programmed as well

The Tech1(a) I don't believe has ever been able to 'clear' a CCM/BCM
But you could 'clear' odometer/VIN of any CCM that was presented to you and after your 'clear' a person with a Tech1(a) with proper cartridge could do their own? After your 'clear' will it learn the key resistance 1st presented to it like an 'out of the box' GM?

*** You do VIN/odometer on a bench also?
All is done on the bench. I can program key codes too, if swapping it best to have the old unit to get the most accurate setup on the new one
Still looking for any further info on what other Cartridge can be used besides the Body Cartridge 3000085. As mentioned prior The Mass Storage Card With Body Ver 3.0 does not work.
Any other info would be greatly appreciated. (Again this is to Program a Refurbished non Programmed CCM)

I believe you will need the CCM cartridge or a Mass Storage of 3.2.
Connect Tech-1 to ALDL connector just above gas pedal, plug power cord into cigarette lighter outlet, turn ignition key to “ON” position
The backlight should illuminate and display the cartridge version installed: (mine is Mass Storage Cartridge Version 3.2 )
Press the Enter key
The Display will show available selections on different lines, Powertrain, Body, Chassis, Programming etc. Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to select “Programming” then press the F3 key.
The tool should display GM 90-96 Service, Programming Version 4.02, Model Year ? will be flashing. Enter just the last digit! (3)
The display should show Select 4th digit of VIN code and give choices FO : S/T Truck? and the letters AFJLRWY, “A” should be flashing Use the NO key to move through the choices until you reach “Y” then press YES
The display should now show Corvette Select FO: Program CCM F9: Help Press the FO key
The display will now show three lines of letters and numbers, and ask for the 5th digit of the VIN. Use the NO and UP/ DOWN arrow keys to select “Y” then press YES
Continue to follow the screen prompts using the NO/ YES and UP/ DOWN arrow keys to navigate the display entering the information requested until finished.
What are the specific part numbers for these?
Your input is very much appreciated. This is the exact info I'm looking for.
The problem, is there are numerous Mass Storage cartridges. And even if you had the GM specific cartridge #3000003 it was able to be updated as well. So you might find one for sale, and it could be a lower version.
If you actually have an immediate need visit GM dealers in your area and see if they actually have a correct cartridge available. You also mentioned '93 and '94, aside from a correct cartridge the ALDL/DLC is different for the '94 so you would have to have the various correct cables/adapters for each and the Tech1 uses different cables/adapters for the 16 cavity '94 DLC, a Tech1(a) requires different so ........... Do you have all of the hardware for both years and ALDL/DLC? CCM/BCM is different those years. What year do you actually have?
If the car drives now you could let them connect and see what version update is on their MSC or maybe they might even have a 3000085 If you have a Tech1(a) might they loan the cartridge? If you've a relationship with them 'maybe'!

What exactly is programmed into the CCM besides miles? Would you be able to program my CCM I have a 1990 C4? Thanks
