Default Door light switch

I have a 93 C4 40th anniversary, the passengers door light switch is not working correctly. When opening the door, the all inside lights blink, one time and stay off. With the door open and pressing the button all the way in and out with my finger, I can make the light blink. If I push in slowly I can make it stays on. It does not take much to push in to make lights come on. It seems like if the button is fully extended out, no lights. But if I push in a little, the lights stay on. Can these buttons be adjusted or do they need to be replaced? Thank you for your time.

Been a while since I sold the 91, but seems like I remember that the door light switches are self adjusting. Start off by pulling them out as far as they will go, then shut the door and they register in the right place.

Thank you for the link. I watch a couple of videos on you tube. It was helpful. I removed the switch and cleaned and inspected it, I could not see any part to be damaged. I cycled a few times and reinstalled it. Now it works like it should. Don't know what I did other than clean it, but it works now. Thank you all for you help!!
