GM# 14024358, Dana/Spicer# 39527, MOPAR I believe either 4626710/4626710AB or 4626710AC might be the current number. You need one why? Best chance of an 'in stock' probably MOPAR if you want new. The newest might not have a provision for the tag.
Thanks WVZR-1, appreciate the info. It appears there’s a leak in that area. Not a drip but more seepage. The pic is after I cleaned it up. The plug looks a bit roughed up like when it was removed last someone didn’t have the right hex socket and used vice grips or something on it. Thot I’d just get a new one, I know it’s prolly discontinued, but thot I’d give it a shot.
The car has way low miles on it (10,500), but it’s been stored for years. That pic was after I had cleaned it. Cleaned everything….including undercarriage, think I went thru 8 or 9 cans of brake kleen on the suspension and undercarriage.
Couldn’t find it at corvette central or any GM parts places. Corvette central has it for 80-82 but I wasn’t sure about that fitting my 96 since it didn’t list it thru 96. Ended up getting it ordered via a mopar parts place….ordered 2 to have an extra since cheap, it should arrive in a few days. Appreciate all the info, thanks!

They don't list it for the 90's Corvette, do a check for 1980-82. I just bought one a month ago from them and the search is an early eighties.
I got it from a mopar parts store for $10.34, and shipping was $11.41. I figured shipping would cost more than the part, so I went ahead and just got two so I’d have one on hand if I ended up needing it down the road.
