Battery Drain
Good Morning,
I am new to this forum and thank you for the add. I am having an issue with my 1992 convertible. The battery drains on a regular basis and I can't figure out what is causing it. Any insights into where to look? I did read somewhere that power seats can be a cultprit. Recently, the power seat stopped working so I wonder if there is a short and the source of the problem.

A multimeter is your friend. Hook it up to measure amperage and check the drain with everything off. If indeed there is a short or other issue it will show up with this test. Then isolate the issue by removing one fuse at a time to see which one eliminates the parasitic draw on the battery.
