86 Window Stopper Broken
The window seems to go up about 1/4 inch too far so that the top front corner presses into the weather stripping too soon and prevents the door from closing without breaking the glass. After much fidgeting with the adjustors inside the door, I realized the rubber bar inside is loose and bends against the stopper when the window goes all the way up. (Pic of the part attached - far right)
Most of the threads I've seen are for late models with the plastic stopper. Is an 86 supposed to have the plastic stopper and guide later models have? If not, any suggestions on how to fix/replace the loose rubber part, as it doesn't seem to be removable.
