im trying to find a name for the black plastic that you would attach a new side mirror to on the 84 power mirrors. i have the housing and motor however the joint that attaches from the mirror to the motor is broken and lets go of the joint. Im trying to find that black plastic mirror holder... thing but i cant seem to find any. would i have to buy a full housing for this? or see if anyone is purely selling the mirror and hopefuly they throw in the plastic holder??
yes it is #17 that im referring to. when i try to attach #16 to #17 it will pop out or not stick. ive located the broken area and its where 16 attaches to 17. both of the 16 joints are intact but the part on 17 is a little chipped. thus causing my issue. i wanted to know if the #17 parts are sold separately and if they have a specific name i should look up

#17 is not sold separately but you should be able to buy any used mirror that operates and transfer the internals to your housing.
