I had to replace the trashed lower baffle on my '84. The part number is different than 85-89. You will also need the 84-96 lower air dam center retainer. I found a used baffle on Ebay and it had the original retainer still attached. Lucky me.

Old broken one.

If you're thinking of buying the air dam retaining nuts and bolts from Zip they were too short. I found these longer ones on Amazon.

Much Better!

#20 as mentioned by@typical boomer is different. The '84 part number is 14030214. That is something to keep in mind. I believe a correct '84 part would have that number molded in to it. #26 in that image would be 'car color.

Found this online but wow $140.00! I paid $50.00 for a used one.

Just noticed that their last blog post was 2015 so probably a dead link.

Maybe Dino's?

OP - if you're needing I'd just post a WTB here on the CF and be sure to mention the part number and ask for snapshots. You might post a snapshot of what you want or maybe the image I posted and mentioning the part number. I'd just wait for someone parting out an '84 or maybe see what they've got hanging around.

You might actually if someone had an '85+ just ty it and confirm it's fit. The lower radiator support for '84 & '85 are the same. For sure SPO says different but what's different?

It's different, not because of the upper and lower radiator support pieces, it's because of the upper baffle/housing part that holds the lug wrench ('84 only). The "vertical" ends of the lower baffle are different to attach to the upper "lug wrench" baffle.👍
edit: Another difference, is the molding/holes of the center to accommodate the bottom arm of the auxiliary pusher cooling fan.

I might have one that I would sell. I know I pulled mine off when I did an LS swap and custom radiator. I'll look tonight and see. I'm not promising anything and mine might be broken. But I'll post back later tonight and let you know if I have it.

Ok so I'm confused. OP do you need the bottom of the air dam or the plastic block off that holds the lug nut wrench on an 84? I have the piece that holds the wrench but not the air dam floor.

Do you need #20 from the first or the second picture?

I have the part #20 NOS in my parts stash and a few other used 84 parts. Not sure what the part is worth. Years ago I was stocking up on 84 parts and still have a few parts.

I believe the vertical ends of the lower baffle and bracket shapes are the difference.
