Some codes..
So there's always been a check engine light since I've had it.
the instrument cluster doesn't work.
Today at oreilies, the obd1 codes that showed were: 54,52,51,44,43,42,41.
There is strong suspicion that theres a ground fault somewhere at least in my mind.
many of the codes showed issues with things like ignition, cylinder select(?) Startup and idling issue and of course, the likely cause for it all, the ground fault.
On the 87 C4 where would the fault likely be?
Not looking forward to having to strip the entire car down to locate it..
Prev owner said mice got in and chewed on some of the wiring harness possibly.
The car runs good(not great, but it goes, just not as fast as I expected it would, got passed by a old chevy pickup that seemed to have mods..)
The car has a holley(?) Racing ecm(auto tuning aparently??)
Anyways, any suggestions where to start or what is likely the problem? Probably the "chewed"(havnt seen or found any chews) wiring harness?(where is the harness located?)
Looking to have the fast and furious shark she's supposed to be come back out.
